Why are we telling you this?
AI is showing up in every corner of marketing and communications work — often faster than the trust and safeguards around it. Our job is to do that thinking for you, and to be open about how we're doing it.
AI that respects where you data lives
A lot of AI tools quietly send your data through servers outside Europe, run by companies whose rules you have little say over. We think you deserve a choice.
What this means for you
We design Liana AI around the rules that already protect you — the GDPR for your personal data, the EU AI Act for how AI systems must behave responsibly, and NIS2 for keeping the systems behind them secure. Compliance isn't a checkbox we tick after the fact; it shapes how each feature is built from day one.
Built with Finland's leading universities and specialists
We believe trustworthy AI is a team effort, not a marketing claim. This work is part of MAISA, a Business Finland co-innovation project, and it's brought some excellent partners to the table.
LUT University
Co-designed and ran our customer AI survey, turning customer opinions into evidence we can actually build on.
Tampere University · GPT-Lab
Liana is their first documented case study on European AI sovereignty — helping define what "trustworthy AI" concretely means for a company like ours.
Eficode
Independent security specialists who pressure-tested our AI plans and implementation, helping us build stronger safeguards from day one.
We are listening to our customers and their needs
Together with LUT University, we surveyed 356 professionals in Finland and abroad about how they use AI at work — and what worries them about it. It confirms why Liana works towards secure, European-compliant AI, built around the things people told us matter most.
The key message: people don't want AI that acts on its own or pretends to be human. They want AI that stays under their control — adaptable, but predictable. That's exactly the principle Liana AI is designed around. The full results are being published as an academic paper at an international research conference in 2027, and we'll share it as soon as it's out.
"We don't think you should have to choose between powerful AI and trustworthy AI. Our work with Finland's universities and security specialists exists to prove you don't have to."
