At the end, however, we found it important to choose a partner that took the responsibility and offered good support services. Inchcape Motors Finland wanted to develop both the usability and visual appearance of the existing Land Rover sites. A decision was thus made to renew sites both in Finland and in the Baltic countries. The new sites were to be easy to use and navigate through. The customer also wanted to use rich content on the site to bring Land Rover brand closer to the consumers. At the same time, the content management system needed to serve better the needs of a quickly evolving business. Video and image content needed to be supported and the CMS needed to enable future development of the site.

For the customer it was important to find a system that allows users to easily update all parts of the site content. This in mind, Liana Technologies and LianaCMS were chosen over open source systems.

The technical and functional planning played a huge role in the design of the new site. In the design phase, a foundation was built for the development of the existing site. Definitions that were made before were now specified and a plan was formed for the new site's structure and integrations. The renewed site needed not only to have a more visually appealing look, but it also needed to be more user-friendly and function seamlessly with all the integrations carried out in the background.

The Land Rover-site renewal was carried out with LianaCMS to four different countries in five different languages. LianaCMS's language and multisite support made it easy to create and publish a multilingual site for different markets. LianaCMS was also integrated into a car database, which made it easy to bring thousands of product descriptions quickly onto the site. LianaCMS's built-in search engine optimization tool was used for the site's SEO.

As a result of the project, Land Rover's sites have been renewed in Finland and the Baltic countries. Content updates are now easily carried out with the modern LianaCMS tool (Content Management System). An integration to the car database is saving the customer's time and keeping the product information on the site up-to-date.
